Hello. I'm Jeremy, I am building an ecological, spiritual and personal development retreat centre in Portugal, 1 hour North of Lisbon close to a town called Alocobaça. We planted a syntropic agroforsest in March 2024 and massively reworked the land in preparation for our biological pond, fire pit and social areas. We really need some help managing the forestry system, setting up beds for vegetables, planting in the pond, remodelling the walls of the pond. We also have a plan to build some benches in cob. This place is beautiful. It's very chill with great view and we are 20 minutes drive to awesome beaches. We are really looking for people that have a passion for organic farming and have some knowledge but are open to receiving requests from everyone. We are not looking for long term visitors. Around 1 to 2 weeks. Our land is small so we never have more than 4 volunteers here but also less than 2 can be too lonely for volunteers. Oh, we also have 6 cats here!

Jeremy is a great host and we really enjoyed our stay at his place, his house is beautiful and very comfortable. We had some great chats and enjoyed amazing yoga sessions. Jeremy did his best to work along side us whenever we were in the garden so the work felt very collaborative. It was exciting to also work on the natural swimming pool build. Pity we couldn’t stay longer but it was time to head back home.
