Welcome to the Douro at its most remote, most peaceful (until we’re the ones making the noise — or the music), and least touristy.
The river marks one of our boundaries; within it, olive trees, almond trees, orange trees, and a vegetable garden await our care.
We love to work, and we love people who enjoy working too. And we love to celebrate — especially with those who want to join us in marking the end of each day’s work.
We’re happy to welcome anyone who’d like to help us with the tasks at hand, and we’ll make sure these stays become moments of joy and growth.
The main activities are harvesting almonds (late summer), olives (winter), and oranges (late winter). But we also welcome help with pruning and tending to the garden.
For leisure, there’s the river for swimming, kayaks for rowing, a piano, guitars, a trumpet, and percussion instruments for playing — and endless paths to walk and explore.
