You will be very welcome in Povoação: a beautiful area in the Island of S. Miguel in Azores. Here you will discover nature and simple life. We are a luso-luxemburgish couple having a project of a sustainable guest house since 2012 !! We speak Portuguese, Luxemburgish, French, English, Spanish, and a little bit of Italian, Finnish and Swedish! We need help this Spring for some house maintenance works and in our organic farm as well as to take care of our animals. We have a very comfortable house and we grow lots of vegetables and fishing is also possible in the village. We have a new project for 2021 for a longer period in the in Central Portugal near Pombal in my grand-parents farm. There is a old little house for farming tools but a camping car would be recommended welcome or a good tente. The farm has orange, olive, cherry and fig trees and all has to be renovated and rebuilt. Rien à dire! Il faut le vivre… 1 mois à la Quinta, avec les employés, top, Des clients sympas et qui ont juste envie d’une seule chose de découvrir l’île et d’être en bonne compagnie, c’était l’endroit idéal! Souvenirs forever et des personnes au top! Love them all 🔥💗

I had a great time WWOOFing in the Azores! The work was varied and enjoyable—some days in the garden, others painting or helping with small projects. I especially loved the fresh local produce, which was absolutely delicious. Eduarda, Sam, and Eduardo were fantastic and took such great care of me throughout my stay. The island itself is stunning, with beautiful landscapes and a peaceful atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this experience to other WWOOFers looking for a meaningful and rewarding time in a truly special place.

We are always reluctant to reduce our minimum stay of one month… but sometimes there are good feelings! And yes we made an exception for an exceptional human being… Christian! Christian has been a great help when we were 5 weeks away, gardening, painting, taking care of the furry friends, welcoming guests and son on…. The feedback of our clients and staff was so great on Christian’s help . He was very quickly very well integrated in a multi-tasks team and everybody has been very happy by his valuable contribution. Even our guests left very positive notes on his helpful and welcoming attitude. His kindness, attention and positivity are already missed here. And Laika and Gaspar will be waiting for him again… Christian will always be welcome at Quinta Atlantis.

Ce fut trois semaines formidables dans la Quinta Atlantis ! J'ai appris beaucoup de choses aux côtés des employés, Maria et Eduardo, très chaleureux et toujours prêts à vous aider. Adélia et Guy sont des personnes aussi très accueillantes. Ils ont réussi à faire de cette vieille bâtisse, complètement rénovée, une maison remplie de charme où vous vous sentirez chez vous le temps de votre séjour. Il y a aussi de nombreux animaux dont Laika et Gaspar qui sont d’adorables colocataires. Je n'ai maintenant qu'une seule envie, revenir dans ce lieu incroyable et retrouver toutes ces personnes formidables, il me reste encore énormément de choses à découvrir !! Bonjour a toutes et a tous. La quinta Atlantis est un joyaux dans l'archipel des Acores. Cette ancienne bâtisse rénovée avec modernité et beaucoup de goût par Adelia et Guy vous laissera sans voix pendant au moins 1 semaine. Nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de sincérité. On nous a accordé énormément de confiance et nous avons pu partager nos savoirs. Le terroir Acorien est une perle rare et les plantes qui s'y trouve sont d'une très grande diversité. On s'est énormément attaché aux animaux. Le chat Gaspard, le chien Laïca, les poules, les canards, les dindons, la chèvre et le bouque et le timide âne Xico qui vont bien tous nous manquer. Les employés locaux se font un plaisir de vous connaître et vous permettront d'en savoir plus sur leur culture. On a pu faire d'innombrables randonnées et découvertes a couper le souffle. Merci milles fois a Guy et Adelia pour cet échange qui nous a conforté dans cette idée d'entraide humaine. Nous partons le coeur serré mais nous savons désormais que nous avons des amis aux Acores.
