Hi everyone, I originally come from Wales, via New York , London and Somerset, and spent most of my career as an hospitality entrepreneur, running bars, restaurants and nightclubs in London and New York. Following my own personal spiritual awakening in 2016 I was called to unplug from the matrix and convert an old bus to a motorhome and to relocate to the mountains of Central Portugal, where I arrived in 2017. After 4 years living here on the bus I was blessed to be able to adquire this beautiful 6 hectare (15 acre) farm in 2021, with the aim and intention to establish a small self sufficient conscious community. The farm is located at nearly 500m altitude on the edge of the Serra d'Estrela national park, with fantastic views of the mountain. There are several barns and outbuildings and 3 houses. One house has now been restored and I am living in it, and so there are another two properties with habitation that still need rebuilding, to provide accommodation for the community residents or guests. The farm is blessed with an abundance of water, having 6 wells, a water mine and a stream. There is a large variety of mature fruit and nut trees (including Orange, Lemon, Apples, Pears, Plum, Peach, Pomegranate, Apricot, Cherry, Figs, Chestnut, Walnut, Hazlenut), approximately a kilometer of Grapevines , Olive groves, fields for hay and pasture, and more than enough forest for a sustainable wood supply. Our flock of pure breed Serra D'Estrela sheep currently comprises 7 breeding Ewes, a Ram and 4 lambs and are reared for meat. There are currently 16 hens producing eggs. Lagoona is the farm livestock guardian dog. She is a pure breed Rafeiro do Alentejo and a gentle giant who loves having her tummy rubbed. Sadly DJ the cat died a few weeks ago, and am now on the lookout for a couple of kittens. The farm is too big to work by myself and so I have managed by hosting dozens of volunteers over the past few years, mostly via Workaway where I have received very good feedback as a host. Accommodation for now is in one of two motorhomes, both are comfortable and well appointed, with log burners. There is a very nice compost toilet and volunteer shower. Volunteers prepare their own breakfasts and I tend to prepare lunch and dinner 5 days a week and can cater to all dietary types. On the other two days you would prepare your own meals. I expect 25-30 hours a week minimum although this can be weather and season dependent, generally (apart from our LOOF weeekends- see below) we work Monday to Friday and have weekends off. There are local artisan markets nearly every weekend, which are well supported by the international community and are great social gatherings. During summer the nearest swimming river, the Alva is only 15 minutes away. I play drums and have a music studio with electric guitars, keyboards, drumkit and PA/sound system so any musicians who like to jam are very welcome. The farm generates income in several ways. We produce and sell eggs, olive oil, jams and preserves, as well as haybales and surplus fruit and veg, obviously all organic. We also recently started a L.O.O.F. (Love Our Organic Farm) monthly market, carboot and family fun day where we organise kids activities and run the cafe/bar from our outdoor kitchen in one of the barns. This has been a huge success with our last market attracting around 150 cars, and a great variety of stalls selling a wide range of artisan products and food. For volunteers with their own van, access to the farm is excellent and despite being in the mountains is mostly flat, so there is masses of room for parking motorhomes and caravans. There is no doubt we are living in extraordinary times of great and unprecedented change. As we rapidly approach the end of this cycle of time and the shift of ages, it is crystal clear to those of us who have fully awakened that the world is not as we were told, indeed little is! The next few years will bring utter chaos as the unelected globalist leaders continue to force their dark nwo agendas to deliver us more hyperinflation, economic and fiscal collapse, increased war, famine, pestilence along with further depopulation efforts, demonic social engineering and brainwashing of the younger generation with the 'woke' insanity, it won't be long before society as we know it collapses. The need for small sustainable communities is therefore essential at this time to maintain continuity and to provide security, sanctuary and abundance during this challenging transitional period for humanity. In many ways this farm community project is still a blank canvas with endless possibilities. As well as hosting for shorter stays I sincerely hope to connect with some like minded awakened high vibration individuals, couples or families interested in joining me here on the farm on a long term or permanent basis, living and working together sustainably in peace and harmony, managing and living off the land, building friendship, trust, partnership and community. Ultimately there is more than enough room here to accommodate possibly 3 or 4 families, so maybe a dozen or more including children. Useful skills such as experience with farming, market gardening, building work or forestry would be most welcome. I am sorry but please do not ask to visit if you are vaccinated, and absolutely no Woke nonsense! Thank you for reading my profile. Sending love and blessings. Namaste

We worked at Stuart for three weeks. It was our first wwooff experience and we liked it right away. The work was very varied, from maintaining the vegetable garden and pruning the olive trees to demolishing and building a 'dome'. This is a large transparent dome from which Stuart wants to make a greenhouse and meeting space. In between the work, Stuart made a delicious lunch for us and a flavourful dinner in the evening. The days were well filled and Stuart once took us to a market in Tabua where we got an impression of Portuguese customs. The three weeks flew by and we promised to come back to the Quinta again.

I volunteered for Stuart along with my boyfriend (who's not registered on WWOOF...yet!) and we both had a lovely, satisfying, stimulating and educative week on the quinta. Stuart is an incredible host, who made us feel right at home--in short, we arrived as strangers and left as friends! In terms of work, we cleared and moved wood, weeded the garden, and helped with general upkeep around the property. There was great variety in tasks, and I learned a lot about how much physical effort it takes to clear fallen trees. It's an on-going job that requires collective effort or it's overhwelming. Stuart is also a great cook, an entertaining and articulate story-teller, curious about life and people and we never had a dull moment together. The quinta was also incredibly quiet and a peaceful. I would highly recommend volunteering here as you'll work hard and be rewarded with appreciation, excellent food and lodging and meeting someone who deeply cares for others.
