Permaculture property in the process and progress

I live there with my 85 year old mother. The property is an Orchard of orange and clementines mostly . I am using permaculture principles. I am now designing and digging my vegetable beds and landscaping the property.
In the morning I wake up and have my coffee and go on the land.
- Now I am digging my vegetable beds and prepping to create a soil base as the land is sand only
- depending on the season I prune, clean weeds, and work on infrastructure with the help of a contractor.
I have a 3 guests rooms. one room Bathroom and kitchen is shared. 2 other rooms have their own bathrooms. I prepare home cook meals.
I love to cook homemade meals and will be very satisfied once I can plant all my vegetables.
There a small beach about 8 min drive to the house. The property is in a rural area but we are near Lisbon accessible but bus or train. I also have a car. I do not always stay on the property. I like to go to the beach and explore the area. for now to make money I babysit dogs in their homes. The cost of living here is pretty affordable. I have joined a couple of expats groups and participates in different events. There is always something happening here
Je suis américaine et française. Je suis ne aux États Unis mais j'ai grandi dans le centre de la France. Je parle espagnol couramment. Pas aussi bien que mon français. Je commence tout juste a apprendre le portugais. Ma propriété est un projet qui démarre tout juste.

Miyoko was a wonderful host during my WWOOFing period. I became part of a very large family consisting of 3 dogs, 2 cats, 5 chickens, and 1 rooster. I still enjoy visiting Miyoko and Monica (Mama).

I don’t really know what to say, because unfortunately I couldn’t go to Miyoko’s since my car was being repaired. I’m just writing this comment to see Miyoko’s. I hope I won’t have a bad surprise, as it wasn’t my facultatif.

Très beau mois de juin partagé avec Miyoko, toute la famille et les amis ! Merci beaucoup à chacun ! L'accueil fut chaleureux, les partages heureux et j'ai fait ma part avec grand plaisir pour participer au beau projet de Miyoko, bien épaulée par sa maman Monique, de recréer une riche biodiversité sur la propriété de la Quinta de Los Amigos. Elles s'y attèlent depuis deux ans.
J'ai aidé à pailler les orangers et autres fruitiers avec les herbes sèches du terrain, désherbé beaucoup, participé à la fin de l'aménagement de la filtration pour la piscine naturelle et autres menues tâches pour ce projet. Participation aussi à la vie de la maison comme la préparation des repas ou le nettoyage.
À la Quinta de Los Amigos, pas de pression et les tâches, comme souvent, sont liées à la saison de passage ! Je recommande ce lieu où règne l'esprit du wwoofing et parce que Miyoko a bien besoin qu'on lui donne le coup de main !

Miyoko and her mother always positive energy, and really, they were very good hospitality ❤.
I was thinking for myself, i am a very cheerful man. But i saw Miyoko was cheerful than me 😂.
Miyoko is always thinking about new projects, and her brain never stop to think about new projects 🤔.
When Miyoko finished her worked we spent a good time with Miyoko and her mom. Sometime in the house sometimes out of the house enjoyed.
I worked in the garden, garage and in the house. I learn a lot 👷♂.
And i spent good time in there 🥳.

I had a great time here. Both Miyoko and her mother are very nice and cook great meals. Miyoko went the extra mile and drove me along the coast on the weekend and we went for lunch at a classical Portuguese place.

J'ai vécu une super première expérience chez Miyoko.
Nous étions plusieurs dans la maison, nous parlions essentiellement français, mais elle parle anglais et fait toujours en sorte que tout le monde se sente à l'aise.
Nous logions dans une grande maison, et avec mon amie, nous dormions dans une très belle chambre avec salle de bain. Le terrain est très grand, avec de magnifiques orangers.
Nous travaillions généralement de 9 h à 12 h 30. J'ai fait plusieurs petits travaux : tailler les arbres, jardiner, j'ai eu l'occasion de créer une mosaïque pour un bassin extérieur, de faire de la peinture, et nous aidions aussi à la vaisselle ou à la cuisine, toujours dans une super ambiance.
La maison se situe à environ 1 h - 1 h 30 en transport de Lisbonne, mais cela se fait facilement.
Je me suis très bien entendue avec Miyoko et sa maman Monique. La maison est très chaleureuse. Je conseillerais vraiment ce Woofing, c'était une très belle expérience qui me donne envie de voyager encore et encore !
Merci beaucoup pour tous ces moments que je n'oublierai pas.
